Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SendSignal platform (“Service”), operated by SendSignal Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

SendSignal is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that generates executive-quality briefings using artificial intelligence. Users provide topics and preferences; our Service uses AI technology (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to research, synthesize, and format briefings that can be shared with teams via email.

2. Account Terms

To use SendSignal, you must create an account using a valid email address. Authentication is handled through our secure sign-in system. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Billing & Subscriptions

SendSignal offers three subscription tiers, billed monthly through Stripe:

  • Brief — $9.99/month (3 briefs/month, 10 audience members)
  • Briefing — $49.99/month (12 briefs/month, 8 writing styles, custom branding, auto-send)
  • BriefingRoom — $99.99/month (unlimited briefs, all 16 styles, unlimited audience, priority support)

All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

4. AI-Generated Content

Briefings generated by SendSignal are created using artificial intelligence and automated research. While we strive for accuracy and quality:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors.
  • Generated briefings are not a substitute for professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise).
  • You are responsible for reviewing all content before distributing it to your team or audience.
  • We do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any AI-generated content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Distribute spam, phishing, or misleading communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or generated content without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the topics, preferences, and any original content you provide to the Service. Briefings generated by the Service are provided to you under a license for your personal and internal business use. The SendSignal platform, including its design, code, branding, and underlying AI models, remains the property of SendSignal Inc.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your input data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SENDSIGNAL INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE
  • ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE
  • AI-GENERATED CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SendSignal Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your distribution of AI-generated content.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
